Echinacea
Derived from coneflowers which grow wild in prairies and pastures, echinacea is a botanical extract rich in alkamides, phenolic acids, caffic acid and other medicinal compounds. Brimming with antioxidants, this natural flower essence has been shown to reduce internal inflammation, mitigate chronic swelling, boost immunity to ward off illness and lower blood sugar levels. Studies have indicated those who consume echinacea during flu and cold season are less likely to become ill. The range of vitamins in this extract has proven to combat infections and viruses but it can also help speed up recovery and ease symptoms if sickness does occur.
